An evening discussion about A National Act of Recognition with the First Peoples of Australia at Kamay Botany Bay. Guest speakers will be Rev Lindsay McDowell, Co-Chair of A National Act of Recognition, Bishop Michael Stead, South Sydney Anglican Bishop, Aunty Jean Phillips, and Brooke Prentis.
Information: This movement is not linked to constitutional recognition. This is a people’s movement that began far earlier – in June 1997. The national leadership includes Pastor Ossie Cruse of Eden NSW, Pastor Robyn Beezley of Cairns QLD and Mr Rodney Rivers of The Kimberley WA. The goal of this movement is to achieve Public Recognition Australia Wide of that deep injustice and to achieve Public Recognition Australia Wide of our true history.
An offering will be taken to help with expenses
