Today we joined nearly 100 organisations (organised by Change the Record) calling on the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers to take national action on youth justice in light of the release of the Report of the Royal Commission and Board of Inquiry into the Protection and Detention of Children in the Northern Territory last Friday. The levels of abuse towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in the justice system are unacceptable.
