Donor Care Officer
Permanent Part-Time, 7.6 hours per week
Purpose
The Donor Care Officer will report to the Community Engagement Manager to coordinate and deliver activities for the growth and retention of our regular giving donors. The focus will be on donor care and communications, and data and administrative support to ensure that our regular donors feel valued and part of the Common Grace movement. Using your timely and effective communication skills you will be the main point of contact for regular giving donors, assisting with enquiries and creating meaningful onboarding experiences.
Your role will also be responsible for accurate data entry, database support, and administrative tasks to ensure the efficient and accurate record keeping of donor’s profiles and donations. Where needed and applicable the role may also assist the Common Grace team in improving processes that strengthen Common Grace’s growing movement.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating activities for onboarding and retention of our Regular Giving Donors
- Donor care - responding to donor’s enquiries to provide excellent donor experience at every stage of their giving journey.
- Data entry and database support - keeping donor’s records accurate and importing direct debit donations into the database.
- Assisting with fundraising reporting - collating data on donor attrition, retention and revenue.
- Supporting the fundraising team - communicating with donors as per requests from the Community Engagement Manager
Selection Criteria
- Passionate about justice and seeing Christians take up their call to pursue justice as part of their faith.
- Experience in nurturing relationships with supporters or donors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to have high attention to detail.
- Motivated to achieve fundraising results.
- Experience using a customer relationships management tool, such as NationBuilder.
- Experience using excel to create fundraising reports.
- Able to work remotely and demonstrated ability to be self-motivated.
- Willingness to participate in team meetings which include prayer and devotionals.
