An exciting opportunity to start in a new part-time and flexible role. We are searching for a passionate and highly motivated individual, seeking to use their fundraising experience, to help build and grow the Common Grace movement and ensure long-term sustainability.
Purpose of the role
Want to help grow one of Australia’s leading Christian grassroots movements for justice? Common Grace has an exciting new position in the Community Engagement team to develop and manage a major gifts and bequests strategy and develop relationships with new and existing donors.
This is an opportunity for an experienced and passionate fundraiser who wants to use their excellent people and communication skills to help Christians, through their generosity, pursue Jesus and justice in Australia. With your focus on cultivating and maintaining relationships with current and potential high-value donors, you will help grow the organisation’s capacity to deliver high-quality impactful advocacy campaigns.

Position Description
Title: Fundraising Coordinator (Major Gifts and Bequests)
Job Type: Permanent Part-Time, Remote
Rate: SCHADS Award Level 3
Hours per Week: 0.4 FTE (15.2 hours)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a Major Donor strategy.
- Develop and implement a Bequest Strategy.
- Help lead the Common Grace team to establish and nurture relationships with potential and current high-value donors and bequest donors.
- Develop and write compelling gift proposals and impact reports as part of the major donor relationship.
- Proactively research opportunities for grants.
- Work with the fundraising and justice teams to ensure donor engagement is integrated across the work of the organisation.
