Join us for an evening of prayers, stories, information sharing, climate pastoral care updates and an introduction to the work of Psychology for a Safe Climate.
The reality of our warming world highlighted in the latest IPCC report and UN Emission Gap report as well as the lack of credible and bold action on climate change by the Australian government in the lead up to #COP26 has left many of us experiencing a range of deep and heavy emotions.
Gather with other Christians experiencing climate anxiety and grief, learn about some important new research, resources, organisations and tangible ways to respond.

About Psychology for a Safe Climate
Psychology for a Safe Climate (PSC) is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2010 in Melbourne, Australia, to foster emotional engagement with climate change. PSC was founded in response to the lack of individual and community commitment to address the climate emergency.
Psychology for a Safe Climate works to support people in facing the reality of the climate emergency. They aim to build people’s capacity to respond constructively to climate change by promoting and strengthening mental health and wellbeing.
As psychologists and other helping professionals, they aim to use their professional knowledge and skills to increase understanding and engagement with the psychological impact of climate change.
