An opportunity to support

As we move forward into 2017 we're inviting our friends and advisors who've journeyed with us since the beginning to now help fund our movement into the future.

Over the last two years Common Grace has stretched our very limited resources an incredible distance, forming and mobilising Christians to pursue justice across a range of campaign areas, while gathering diverse voices from across the church to find common ground, share in common grace and pursue a common purpose.

However, at this stage, we’re only funded till the end of the year and are looking to fundraise $200,000 over the next twelve months to cover the lean staff and operational costs of our movement.

We humbly ask you to consider pledging* an amount within your means from $10 to $10,000, to help us move forward into 2017.

*Just a pledge at this stage

Moving to a supporter-funded model

As we move forward into 2017, it's necessary we move to a supporter-funded model. We believe we can and should only operate with support from those individuals, churches, organisations and denominations who believe in our mission, rather than bending our mission to the available funding sources, and we’d ask that you consider whether you can support us in an ongoing way.

How have we been funded previously?

In our first year we received two generous secondments from World Vision, covering most of our staffing costs, while receiving some small grants. This year half our support has come from partner organisations, a third from our supporter base and the remainder has been small grants. As we move into 2017, our partner and grant funding will be significantly limited and so we're seeking to more deeply engage our supporters to enable our work.

Where does our money get spent?

The lion's share of our budget goes to staffing costs. We have four staff on our team but at this stage only our CEO is permanently employed, with our other staff engaged as contractors. As a key priority we want to move our staff into permanent roles so that they have greater support and employment security from the organisation.
