Wild at Art - threatened species art competition for kids run by the Australian Conservation Foundation
From Wednesday 7 September (Threatened Species Day) to Monday 31 October the Australian Conservation Foundation is inviting children aged 5-12 to create an original artwork of one of Australia's many threatened native animals or plants, along with a short written component on their chosen threatened species. Wednesdays with Wellspring - Online Evening Worship: An Hour of Worship and Fellowship with Season of Creation focus
"Led by members of the Wellspring Community from all over Australia, we begin our hour with worship in the Celtic tradition and continue with a time of fellowship and informal gathering. Faiths 4 Climate Justice Multi-faith Services held across Australia and the Pacific to show support for an open letter to Prime Minister Albanese, signed by senior faith leaders both from Australia and the Pacific.

Canberra Baptist is holding its annual 'Blessing of the Animals' service on Sunday 16 October at 10am. People are invited to bring their pets to this service (if they will be comfortable coming and being part of the event) or bing along a photo. Following the service (if the weather permits) everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic (and a treat for your pet!) to Telopea Park for a picnic.
