This January, Aunty Jean Phillips, in partnership with Common Grace, invites Australian Churches to hold services of acknowledgement, lament and prayer as we approach January 26th – a day of mourning for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander brothers and sisters.
In Blackburn on the morning of January 24, 2019, you're invited to join us at Salvation Army HQ, Blackburn from 9am for a service of prayer and lament for the 26th of January.
This is a private property, so RSVP's are essential to ensure you are given access when you arrive. Please also arrive early to arrive early to be signed in at reception.
Light refreshments will be provided following the service.
During the service an offering will be taken up to support Aboriginal Christian ministry through the Grasstree Gathering. Please consider how you can generously support this ministry and resource Aboriginal Christian leadership across the country.
