Thank you for your heart for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander justice. Thank you for taking a moment in your week to remember, reflect and participate in Reconciliation. 

With your support we know there are new possibilities ahead to champion Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander justice. 

But without your ongoing support, we cannot keep equipping Australian Christians and the Australian church.

Over the last five years of Common Grace we have been led by incredible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Christian Leaders.  We’ve partnered with Aunty Jean Phillips through the #ChangeTheHeart services. These started in 2016 with a few hundred people gathering at one service in each State and Territory.  But now in 2020, over 3,000 Australian Christians came together attending 23 services - a great movement of the Holy Spirit.  Thank you!

With your help, we are helping to #ChangeTheHeart of Australia. God is at work and we want to follow this movement of the Spirit!

Did you know that up until now all our Aboriginal Justice work has been done voluntarily? Imagine what we could do with an influx of funds, properly resourcing all those working with Common Grace for Aboriginal justice. We want to bring on an additional Aboriginal Christian Leader as a part-time staff member to amplify our impact. 

We want Australian Christians and  the Australian Church to show leadership, repentance and work for justice in these lands now called Australia.  But we need your financial help to have a bigger impact. 

With $20,000 we can employ an additional Aboriginal Christian Leader as a part-time staff member to enable us to:

• provide more opportunities to listen to, learn from and be led by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Christian Leaders, 
• create more resources for Churches and Christians to engage with issues of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander justice
• lead Australia in calling for a National Truth Telling Commission, Treaty and Constitutional Reform,
• educate and take action against racism, injustice, and inequality,
• equip churches and schools to champion Aboriginal justice.

In a week where we have also grieved the loss of 46,000 years of history with the destruction of sacred sites, watched the world grapple with systemic racism and injustice, there’s so much more work for justice to be done.
