Josh Dowton reflects that Justice is part of the work of God’s Kingdom, bringing new life and wholeness.
“Any declaration of a love for Jesus cannot be separated from a love of neighbour”
The premise for justice is a fundamental care of the wellbeing of others. Could a love for Jesus ever be separated from caring for your neighbour? Rev Dr Mike Frost allows us to overhear the conversation between Jesus and Peter that takes place directly after the resurrection, when Jesus appears to his friends. We are reminded that Jesus’ call to love is without limits.
Reflect: Ask God what he might be saying to you about loving someone specific in your own life?
Act: What’s one thing you could do this week to show them love?
