Palm Sunday Rallies

This Palm Sunday, join with thousands of Australians who are marching in solidarity for refugees who are still being affected by harsh and unfair policies of the Australian Government.

On Palm Sunday (April 14th) we remember the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, and the celebration of God's kingdom drawing near – a kingdom in which those who are poor, persecuted and mourning find hope.

This year, we are encouraging our Common Grace community to take some time on Palm Sunday to consider how we can celebrate the coming of God's kingdom through the welcome we show to those who are poor, persecuted and mourning. We invite you to join with thousands of others, Christian and non-Christian alike, who are standing together to call for justice and dignity to be shown towards refugees here in Australia and for people seeking asylum around the world.

As we increasingly hear the cries of our refugee neighbours, join the broad and united movement, standing in solidarity with our refugee neighbours and add your voice to advocate for dignity and justice.

If you live in Brisbane, Sydney or Perth, we are organising a Common Grace connection point at each of these Palm Sunday Rallies. Let’s march for refugees and people seeking asylum as part of the movement that is Common Grace. For more information on the connection points, here are the links to the Facebook events: Brisbane, Sydney, Perth
