On Palm Sunday (March 28th) we remember the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, and the celebration of God's kingdom drawing near – a kingdom in which those who are poor, persecuted and mourning find hope.
This year, we are encouraging our Common Grace community to take some time on Palm Sunday to consider how we can celebrate the coming of God's kingdom through the welcome we show to those who are poor, persecuted and mourning. We invite you to join with thousands of others, Christian and non-Christian alike, who are standing together to call for justice and dignity to be shown towards refugees here in Australia and for people seeking asylum around the world.
More on why we rally for refugees on Palm Sunday.
