Christian Artists

Creativity and the arts have a powerful role to play in helping shape our cultural narratives. Many Christian artists seek to use their gifts to help shine a light on injustice, spark an emotional connection with complex issues and help shape change in their communities. As Christian writer and performance poet Joel McKerrow expresses, “creativity has this ability to cause people to not put up their defenses straight away, to tell a story that draws people in…it gets under people's skin, it gets under their defenses and speaks to this heart space.”
